About This Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of International Sales the Business Development Manager International will lead and coordinate key international sales projects that support the successful execution of Canada Packers global sales strategy. This role will act as a central point of connection between Head Office international offices production facilities Finance Logistics and other internal partners to ensure priorities timelines deliverables and business requirements are aligned. The successful candidate will bring strong project management communication problem-solving and stakeholder management skills to support market execution reporting issue resolution and profitable growth across international markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate international sales projects from planning through execution ensuring priorities timelines deliverables and accountabilities are clearly defined and tracked.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Canada Packers Head Office international offices production facilities Finance Logistics and other internal partners to support alignment on project goals and business requirements.
  • Coordinate market-based pricing benchmarks margin targets and related inputs with local offices to support informed decision-making and alignment with GP objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional follow-up to ensure technical customer and market-specific requirements including North Asian market requirements are understood and executed at the plant level.
  • Monitor project progress market trends competitor activity and customer needs to identify risks opportunities and required adjustments to international sales initiatives.
  • Prepare Monthly Business Review reporting including sales updates forecasts performance metrics project status risks and business opportunities.
  • Identify investigate and resolve order inventory product claim and execution-related issues by gathering data engaging the appropriate stakeholders and driving actionable solutions.
  • Facilitate daily market calls and provide clear summaries action items and follow-ups related to international market trends and business priorities.
  • Support compliance with company policies procedures customer requirements and local regulations throughout project planning and execution.
  • Coordinate plant visits and customer visits to Brandon and Lethbridge facilities ensuring objectives key requirements and follow-up actions are clearly managed.
  • Partner with internal teams to support the preparation of marketing materials and business updates for existing and new international sales activities.
  • Maintain flexibility to support communication across international time zones including evening and early morning calls as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in business business administration supply chain logistics project management or a related field preferred.
  • Experience coordinating projects initiatives or cross-functional workstreams in a sales commercial supply chain logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to organize priorities track timelines and deliverables manage follow-ups and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with various levels of the organization including Sales Marketing Finance Supply Chain Logistics Master Data and production teams.
  • Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to prepare business updates summarize key information facilitate meetings and present recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues interpret data identify risks and support actionable solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities maintaining attention to detail and driving progress on multiple initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking skills with the ability to understand business priorities and translate them into coordinated actions and follow-up.
  • Highly collaborative proactive and accountable with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to travel to customers and Canada Packers facilities as required to support project execution market understanding reviews and internal updates.
  • Ability to adapt to working hours across various time zones including work outside of normal office hours when required.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or project tracking tools is considered an asset.
