Job Summary
About the Role:
As the Regional Refrigeration Specialist you will serve as a technical resource and support leader for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across Amazons expanding North American market. You will support standardization efforts contribute to reliability improvements and provide technical expertise across multiple facilities while ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food safety standards. You will play a key role in supporting Amazon RMEs journey towards World Class Maintenance in refrigeration operations.

Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
You will travel domestically up to 80% providing technical support and expertise for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across assigned geography and ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food safety standards
You will support refrigeration system audits maintenance quality assessments and reliability improvement initiatives across multiple facilities within the region
You will assist in developing standardized refrigeration maintenance procedures troubleshooting protocols and best practices to support consistency and efficiency across assigned sites
You will collaborate with site leadership maintenance teams and central engineering groups to identify opportunities for equipment standardization and performance enhancement
You will provide technical support and guidance to local maintenance teams on refrigeration system operations troubleshooting and preventive maintenance strategies
- Associates degree in a technical field or 2 years of Amazon RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) BB/3P Full Time Exempt experience
- 3 years of maintenance or engineering experience
- 3 years of refrigeration industry experience
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends nights and holidays
- 1 years of commercial CO2 refrigeration applications experience
- Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Refrigeration Trade School certificate
- Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs for commercial refrigeration systems

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
