Dematic is actively seeking an electrical and mechanical technician to join their Salt Lake City manufacturing team! As an Electrical / Mechanical Technician youll play a hands-on role in building testing and delivering sophisticated automation solutions that power global supply chains. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $25.00 - $36.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:
What Youll Do
Read and interpret electrical blueprints schematics and documentation to build products to specification
Install and wire electrical components including switches motors junction boxes lighting photocells and control enclosures
Bend install and secure conduit to meet build and safety requirements
Solder electrical connectors with accuracy and attention to detail
Perform electrical checkout and functional testing to ensure products meet quality standards prior to shipment
Download and apply PLC-based programs and program drives according to engineering guidelines
Operate forklifts and cranes as needed to support manufacturing and material movement
Support the onboarding and training of new employees and temporary team members in your work area
What Were Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent experience required; associate degree or technical training preferred
Approximately three years of hands-on experience in electrical electronic or controls work preferred
Ability to understand and follow electrical codes specifications and safety standards
Comfort working at heights including climbing ladders and scaffolding
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently
Willingness to work in manufacturing and field environments with exposure to moving equipment electrical systems and chemicals
Flexibility to travel 2535% or more occasionally with limited advance notice
