Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Edison NJ
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks Extension Possible)

Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM (Weekend Required)

Compensation:

• $1000 $1350/week (Based on experience)

Position Overview:

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role focuses on maintaining patient comfort safety and overall well-being in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including bathing toileting oral hygiene and bed making
• Assist with patient comfort and daily living activities
• Measure and document vital signs reporting any changes to the RN
• Perform glucose finger sticks and collect specimens (urine stool sputum)
• Monitor and record patient intake/output and daily weights
• Maintain a safe patient environment by responding promptly to call lights
• Observe patient conditions and immediately report changes to the RN
• Act as a patient sitter when required
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and nursing units
• Deliver patient-centered care tailored to individual needs (age culture physical limitations etc.)
• Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members

Requirements:

• Ability to work night shifts and weekends
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Completion of an approved CNA program (Required)

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active New Jersey CNA License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
