In this role you will be working as a Mechanical Engineer for a client that works in the power distribution industry. This position will be responsible for design and coordination of low and medium- voltage switchgear power distribution equipment and control enclosures.

This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Pay; 135000/Yr. depending on experience

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience preferably with switchgear or electrical enclosure deisign
Coordinate EPLAN layouts with 3D models to ensure electrical intent is mechanically feasible.
Evaluate design for manufacturability installation access and maintenance clearance
Create models in Solidworks from electrical schematics and mechanical requirements
Experience with sheet metal and enclosure- based designs
