Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Rehabilitation (Acute Rehab Unit)
Location: Onsite
Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Weekend holiday and call required (if applicable)
Position Overview:
The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation unit focusing on patient recovery mobility and functional improvement.
Qualifications:
Current RN License Required
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Required
Minimum 12 years clinical nursing experience Required
At least 1 successful travel assignment Required
BLS Certification Required
ACLS Certification Required
Inpatient Rehab experience Preferred
Strong assessment critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Assess plan and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient progress and document outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery goals
Ensure patient safety including safe mobility and lift usage
Function effectively in high-stress situations
May serve as charge nurse when required
Maintain compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
