Job Summary
Cakum Global is recruiting a Production Planning Manager for our client based near Lae Papua New Guinea.
Role Overview:
This role is responsible for end-to-end production planning and performance analysis across multiple farming operations ensuring accurate forecasting efficient resource allocation and alignment with business targets.
Key Highlights
- Develop short- and long-term production plans across breeder broiler layer and hatchery operations
- Forecast stockfeed requirements chick supply and production outputs
- Plan placements harvest schedules and inventory flow
- Deliver accurate production reporting and performance analysis
- Work closely with operations sales and supply chain teams to align forecasts and execution
- Drive data accuracy simulations and continuous planning improvements
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Accounting Economics Engineering Agriculture or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience in production planning or similar role
- Advanced Excel skills (including macros) and strong analytical capability
- Highly organized with strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence across teams
- Experience in poultry or agribusiness preferred but not essential
