Manager Information Technology

Cakum Global is recruiting a Manager Information Technology for our client PNG Air based in Port Moresby Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This role supports the General Manager IT in overseeing the companys IT infrastructure telecommunications systems support and technology operations across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring reliable secure and efficient IT services within a dynamic aviation environment.

• Support the management of IT systems telecommunications and network operations
• Provide technical leadership across hardware software and infrastructure support
• Assist in managing IT projects budgets vendors and system upgrades
• Ensure technology systems remain secure reliable and operational
• Support staff training user support and system troubleshooting
• Maintain IT inventories user access controls and network security
• Act as stand-in for the General Manager IT when required

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or related field
• Strong experience in IT systems administration and technical support
• Knowledge of networks hardware software and telecommunications systems
• Strong troubleshooting communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
• Experience in aviation or highly regulated industries highly regarded
