Payroll Manager

Cakum Global is recruiting a Payroll Manager for our client PNG Air based in Port Moresby Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This role is responsible for leading the payroll function to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions for both national and expatriate employees while maintaining compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

• Lead and supervise the payroll team across daily operations
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing including salaries benefits taxes and deductions
• Oversee payroll reconciliations reporting and general ledger journals
• Ensure payroll systems and employee records remain accurate and up to date
• Coordinate closely with HR Operations and Finance teams
• Prepare weekly monthly quarterly and annual payroll reports
• Monitor payroll compliance and statutory payment obligations

• Qualification in Accounting Finance or related field
• Extensive payroll management experience in high-volume environments
• Experience with Attache Payroll System highly regarded
• Strong Excel and reporting capability
• Strong attention to detail integrity and analytical skills
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
