Job Summary
Are you passionate about inspiring a love for languages Ansford Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of French to join our friendly Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) team starting September 1 2026.
About the Role
This is a 0.4 FTE Main Scale position suitable for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced educator. You will play a vital role in driving forward language learning across KS3 and KS4 contributing to a curriculum designed to empower students with the skills they need for fulfilling lives.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality engaging French lessons that enable all students to thrive.
Acting as a supportive Tutor and providing a high standard of pastoral care.
Collaborating with colleagues within the Academy and the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership to share expertise and best practices.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a professional who balances high expectations with a warm inclusive approach. You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree. Beyond your subject expertise we value:
