Analyst Accounts Payable

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring invoices are processed and paid accurately and on time while supporting key processes that maintain the integrity of financial statements and systems.

The ideal candidate is a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment is comfortable working across multiple systems and takes ownership of resolving discrepancies and improving processes.

The impact you can have

  • Review and process invoices within the Oracle financial system to ensure accurate and timely payment
  • Run reports and analyze data to prepare invoices for payment cycles
  • Monitor invoice and chargeback interfaces from multiple source systems; identify analyze and resolve errors
  • Manage and respond to the merchandise payables mailbox providing timely and professional support to vendors and internal partners
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices purchase orders and receipts using PO systems (RMS Bamboo Rose)
  • Deliver excellent customer service to brands and vendors by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes including:
    • Journal entries
    • Write-offs
    • Reconciliation of merchandise AP accounts
  • Assist with audit requests by providing accurate documentation and support
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

Youll bring to the role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (comfortable with formulas data analysis etc.)
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems (preferred)
  • Experience in accounts payable retail or merchandise payables environments (preferred)

This position works on-site at least 4 days per week consistent with the needs of the businessat our Etna Distribution Center office location in Pataskala OH.
