Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic Radiology/Cardiology department in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in both inpatient and outpatient environments while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient response.
- Operate nuclear imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed for patients staff and self.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate diagnostics.
- Document procedures and patient information using the Meditech system.
- Work across both outpatient and hospital settings as needed.
Job Details:
- Shift: Day shift 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 AM 6:30 PM)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Orientation: 40 hours (non-billable)
- On-Call: Not required
- Floating: Yes between outpatient center and hospital
- RTO: Must be submitted at time of application
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
- Active California State License required
