Job Summary

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Burbank CA

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic Radiology/Cardiology department in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in both inpatient and outpatient environments while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient response.
  • Operate nuclear imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed for patients staff and self.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate diagnostics.
  • Document procedures and patient information using the Meditech system.
  • Work across both outpatient and hospital settings as needed.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Day shift 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 AM 6:30 PM)
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Orientation: 40 hours (non-billable)
  • On-Call: Not required
  • Floating: Yes between outpatient center and hospital
  • RTO: Must be submitted at time of application

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
  • Active California State License required
