Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic Radiology/Cardiology department in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in both inpatient and outpatient environments while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient response.
Operate nuclear imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed for patients staff and self.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate diagnostics.
Document procedures and patient information using the Meditech system.
Work across both outpatient and hospital settings as needed.
Job Details:
Shift: Day shift 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 AM 6:30 PM)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Orientation: 40 hours (non-billable)
On-Call: Not required
Floating: Yes between outpatient center and hospital
RTO: Must be submitted at time of application
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
BLS certification required
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
Active California State License required
