Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide essential in-home support to clients in Pontiac MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and transferring safely
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in clients condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare providers
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or related field is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Pontiac MI
- Background check clearance
