Commercial Lines Insurance Agent Sales & Service
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and dynamic Commercial Lines Producer to join a team. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of insurance terminology who are eager to grow their career in commercial lines insurance sales and service.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: Will Consider up to $60K
- Commission Structure:
- 25% on new business (agency billed)
- 15% on renewals (agency billed)
- 5% on direct-billed policies for the duration of the policy
- Competitive benefits package 401(k) paid time off professional development opportunities etc.
- Primarily in-office with some hybrid flexibility after 90 days of onsite training
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a referral network to grow the commercial lines book of business.
- Quote sell and process new and renewal business.
- Provide exceptional service to existing clients including handling inquiries and complaints.
- Issue Certificates of Insurance and ensure accurate documentation of customer records.
- Educate clients on insurance products and services to meet their unique needs.
- Stay updated on evolving insurance products services and market trends.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales and service goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Valid Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Basic understanding of insurance terminology; prior experience in commercial lines is a plus.
- Experience with personal lines and E&S markets is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using Agency Advantage (Genesis) software is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Self-motivated energetic and goal-oriented with a go-getter attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented family-friendly environment.
