We are seeking an experienced motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead our growing pharmacy operations in beautiful southeastern Arizona. This position will oversee our community pharmacy in Safford AZ along with operational oversight of our Duncan AZ telepharmacy location.

This is more than a traditional retail pharmacy role. We are building a patient-centered pharmacy program focused on clinical excellence teamwork innovation and community impact. Position Overview

The Pharmacist in Charge will provide leadership operational oversight and clinical direction for our Safford pharmacy while supporting telepharmacy services in Duncan. The PIC will ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations maintain exceptional patient care standards and foster a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance

Lead and mentor pharmacy staff in a collaborative team environment

Ensure safe effective and cost-conscious medication therapy management

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness

Counsel patients regarding medications side effects and disease state management

Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes

Support and oversee telepharmacy workflows and services

Promote operational excellence quality assurance and patient satisfaction

Participate in program development and growth initiatives

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license in Arizona (or ability to obtain)

Previous leadership or PIC experience and 340B experience preferred

Strong clinical knowledge and patient counseling skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
