Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the highly skilled disciplinespecifictechnical operationsof Riggingwithin Universal Horror Unleashed. Completes installations routine maintenance and repairs toensure showquality and a positive guest experience. Ensures safety of self guestsand other Team Members by taking proper safety precautions following both state and company specific anysetchanges/special events ensuring properinstallation from a safety and design and completes dailyweeklyand annual inspections of all technical and entertainment harnesses and life safety equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as keyRiggingtechnicalexpertfor Universal Horror Unleashed(UHU).Installsoperates andmaintainsall rigging equipment as routine maintenanceand inspectionsfor all rigging equipment to ensure safety standards and proper daily operationandmaintainsrigging equipment raising safety concerns when necessary.
Ensuresthat all rigging equipment functions safely during rehearsals and performances per UDX andequipment to execute assigned tasks given from Technical Lead/Supervisor with minimal direction. Accurately completes installations/repairs and troubleshoots when new or replacement rigging equipment as per the companys safety and procurement 3rdparty/vendoractsequipment is safe to usein venue.
Assistswith daily maintenance of UHUin order toensure allTechnicalequipment is operational and functioning implementing show quality and performance standards as defined by Entertainment and Technical creating andmaintaininga safe work environment.
Responsible for effectively communicating necessary informationpertaining tothe technical operation of UHUto both upper management and affected Team necessary reporting through the propersystemsincludingMaximoto ensure effective communication between shifts as well as with Technical Management and Technical Coordinators.
Maintains a basic working knowledge of Rigging ANSI standards and OSHA performer flying requirementswhilestaying up to date with industry standards tools technologiesto find more efficient ways all state and company mandated trainingandmaintainsanyrequired license renewals.
Understand and activelyparticipatein Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDXpolicy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:Toperform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities (KSAs)required.

Previousexperience working with a Rigging Teamand in-depth knowledge of all riggingand acrobaticequipment.
Good communicationskills and ability to work in a teamenvironment.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

Local and staterequiredlicenses including OSHA 10Aerialwork platform Scissor Lift Licenseand Fall Protection.
Must be able to obtain Non-Gaming work card upon employment.

EDUCATION:

Associatesdegreein related fieldispreferred.

EXPERIENCE:

3 yearsofhigh and ground riggingas well as performer/aerial riggingexperienceisrequired;1years lift operating experience isrequired;1 years ofexperiencewithin the professional entertainment or themed entertainment industryispreferred;or equivalent combination of education and experience.
