Location:Brooklyn NY
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM - 08:30 PM)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Brooklyn NY. This role involves working day shifts with a 5x8-hour schedule (07:30 AM to 08:30 PM) providing respiratory care for a variety of patients.
You will be part of a dynamic team and must have a solid foundation in respiratory care practices including adult pediatric and neonatal care. Experience in respiratory diagnostics ventilator management and airway management is required.
Qualifications:
- Current RRT certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent RRT experience
- Experience in critical care and ventilator management
- Comfortable with intubations extubations suctioning and ABG interpretation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Drug screening and criminal background check required
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care and diagnostic testing for adult pediatric and neonatal patients
- Perform ventilator management including set-up monitoring and troubleshooting
- Assist with airway management including intubations extubations and suctioning
- Interpret ABGs and assist with respiratory assessments
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Respond to emergency situations providing resuscitation and support as needed
