Our current hybrid approach requires staff to work onsite a minimum of two days each week every Tuesday and Wednesday Hybrid staff are also welcome to come in additional days each week or may be asked to come in on other days by their manager.
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The GBH Production Group oversees production and post-production operations for GBH and outside clients and is comprised of two divisions:
GBH Studios which manages and staffs studio and EFP production Fraser Studio operations GBH public spaces and the remote studio at Boston Public Library.
GBH OutPost which provides post-production services including color grading online audio mixing and sweetening sound booth recording and duplication/encoding operations.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Studio Operations Assistant is a member of the team who serves as the point of contact for clients renting Fraser Performance Studio Calderwood Studio Studio-B GBH Digital Studio Yawkey Theater & Atrium and the Boston Public Library Studio. The Assistant is responsible for booking studio spaces and crew initiating invoicing for those services and helping with productions as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule GBH and freelance crew to support our production operations.
Prepare production schedules.
Schedule and invoice through MediaPulse software.
Assist with the execution of social media posts and website updates.
Support Media Management for internal and external clients.
- Work with our business partners to create client profiles and invoices in both Studios and OutPost.
SKILL SET
Must have strong customer service aptitude. Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail required with well-honed analytical skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Work effectively with diplomacy respect and sensitivity with all members of the team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to learn and adapt to new technology
Manage multiple tasks at once prioritizing urgent requests and organizing your workflow to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Some early mornings night and weekend work is required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
0-2 years of production experience.
