Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Perform static and fatigue analysis of primary and secondary airframe structures (metallic and composite)

• Apply classical stress analysis methods to evaluate structural integrity

• Support stress analysis and drawing release using CATIA V5

• Review and interpret 2D engineering drawings

• Contribute to aircraft modifications and repairs (e.g. STC MRB Service)

• Support composite structure analysis including allowable testing and certification requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

• 10 years of experience in a specific technical discipline

  • OR 15 years of broad engineering experience across multiple disciplines with a Bachelors degree

• Advanced degrees may count toward experience:

  • Masters: up to 2 years credit

  • PhD: up to 4 years credit

• Strong experience in static and fatigue analysis of metallic airframe structures

• Solid background in classical stress analysis

• Proficiency with CATIA V5

• Experience reviewing 2D drawings

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
