What Youll Do
Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessments clinical observation and patient history.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function.
Provide therapy to enhance speech clarity fluency voice quality expressive/receptive language and cognitivecommunication skills.
Treat swallowing disorders and support safe effective feeding strategies for adult and pediatric patients as appropriate.
Educate patients families and caregivers on communication techniques home programs and safety recommendations.
Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patientcentered care.
Maintain accurate timely documentation in accordance with hospital state and federal standards.
What Youll Bring
Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or related field.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) from ASHA.
Current Washington SLP license or eligibility to obtain.
Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Experience in inpatient acute care skilled nursing or outpatient settings preferred.
Dysphagia assessment and management experience preferred.
Experience in rural healthcare or Critical Access Hospital settings a plus.
Strong communication organization and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
