What Youll Do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessments clinical observation and patient history.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function.

• Provide therapy to enhance speech clarity fluency voice quality expressive/receptive language and cognitivecommunication skills.

• Treat swallowing disorders and support safe effective feeding strategies for adult and pediatric patients as appropriate.

• Educate patients families and caregivers on communication techniques home programs and safety recommendations.

• Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patientcentered care.

• Maintain accurate timely documentation in accordance with hospital state and federal standards.

What Youll Bring

• Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or related field.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) from ASHA.

• Current Washington SLP license or eligibility to obtain.

• Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

• Experience in inpatient acute care skilled nursing or outpatient settings preferred.

• Dysphagia assessment and management experience preferred.

• Experience in rural healthcare or Critical Access Hospital settings a plus.

• Strong communication organization and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
