PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Interviews trains orients counsels evaluates and administers disciplinary action.

Recommends hiring decisions and disciplinary actions to manager.

Schedules personnel approves paid time off (PTO) and authorizes time and attendance.

Assists Manager with developing and monitoring capital and operating budgets for cost center.

Monitors quality of scans and procedures in department. Assists Manager in developing and administering the Quality Improvement Plan and departmental policies and procedures.

Reports on equipment personnel and other issues through management team meetings and written reports.

Regularly performs the duties and responsibilities of a Mammography Technologist

Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions unsafe conditions or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to Manager.

Demonstrates service excellence behaviors routinely in encounters with all customers coworkers patients visitors physicians auxilians etc.

Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. Graduate of accredited RadiologicTechnology Program

2. Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the AART and Mammo registered (M)

3. Three Years of clinical experience in Mammography

4. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
