Position Purpose

Joining the Sales team at Interface in Perth Western Australia is an incredible opportunity to harness your current knowledge while acquiring new skills in a dynamic client-facing role. Youll play a direct role in our growth thrive in a supportive environment and engage with customers to provide cutting-edge eco-friendly solutions. Youll also build and strengthen relationships within the Trade Architecture and Design (A&D) market as well as with key clients positioning yourself as a trusted partner in the industry. Your achievements will be acknowledged and celebrated making this a truly rewarding and influential career step.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume with assigned accounts
  • Coordinates activities on projects with other Account Managers as required
  • Identifies opportunities for new accounts in WA
  • Identify key buying influences within each project and identify their role
  • Identify product and service opportunities
  • Use effectively and maintain accuracy of information in internal CRM tools and Interface Advance selling process to document status and progress on all selling opportunities
  • Timely and accurate use of the CRM and meet agreed KPIs
  • Attend industry functions to develop broad market awareness and develop external awareness of Interface through networking at events
  • Develop and maintain an account map of all identified accounts
  • Develop territory and customer visit plan
  • Co-ordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet customers expectations
  • Produces and works to annual plan for product/service review of each client.
  • Demonstrate safe working behaviours
  • Extensive local interstate and overnight travel will be required.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • 3 years of Account Management/ B2B Sales experience in the construction industry essential
  • Industry or associated industry knowledge.
  • Possess a broad awareness of the WA Trade/ Architecture/ Design market and clients
  • Capable of working professionally while under pressure in competitive situations.
  • A current drivers licence.
  • An understanding of the financial aspects of the business.
  • Formal qualifications in sales and/or marketing or relevant field would be highly regarded
