Position A&P Mechanic (Aircraft Maintenance)
Location: Phoenix AZ

Mercury Aviation is a long-established aviation services provider supporting commercial airlines general aviation and government operations with fuel services logistics and aviation support solutions. This role supports aircraft maintenance operations in a fast-paced and safety-driven environment.

Summary

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs to ensure airworthiness. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills attention to detail and the ability to work in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repair and inspection of aircraft and aircraft systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical discrepancies and perform corrective actions
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals service bulletins and engineering documents
• Remove and replace aircraft components as required
• Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
• Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education Experience & Certification

High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience required
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation
• Experience performing inspections repairs and modifications
• Ability to use standard aircraft maintenance tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced maintenance environment
• Ability to lift stand and work in various physical positions throughout the shift
