Account Manager, FSI
Job Summary
As an Enterprise Account Manager for AWS India your responsibilities will include building and driving the strategy to increase adoption and market penetration in large BFSI accounts into build long-term business and marketing opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a business development/sales background that enables them to engage at all levels of a customer and partner organisation including C-levels of the business and IT. He/She will also demonstrate a sound technical competency focused on the IT landscape and cloud computing. He/she should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a coverage plan business objectives.
Key job responsibilities
- Strategic Account Planning: Collaborate with country and cross-functional teams to define account strategies identify opportunities and drive business expansion within assigned accounts
- Executive Relationship Building: Serve as the primary relationship owner for customers technology and business teams building and strengthening strategic partnerships across all organizational levels. Articulate a clear vision that generates enthusiasm and impacts all business groups
- Senior-Level Engagement: Work at the most senior levels within accounts to implement broad strategies that earn customer acceptance and drive service adoption
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Coordinate with all appropriate AWS resourcesincluding Executives Solution Architects Business Development Marketing Partners Support Service teams and Professional Servicesto advance customer interests
- Revenue Growth & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that meet and exceed goals and targets
- Value Communication: Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services that resonate with customer business objectives
- Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports.
- Partner Ecosystem Development: Work with partners to extend reach and accelerate adoption
- Reference Building: Recruit and develop new customer references that showcase successful outcomes
- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in quantitative disciplines such as Computer Science Engineering and Economics
- 4 years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience
- Knowledge of at least one relevant technology domain area (e.g. compute hardware network software big data security etc.)
- Experience engaging with and influencing C-level executives
- Experience giving skills and communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences across different functions
- 6 years of account management project or program management or buying experience or MBA
- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Math Engineering Science or Business
- Experience selling cloud solutions
- Preferably Engineer / MBA.
- A technical background in engineering computer science or MIS a plus.
