Your role

Saab is globally in a growth journey and are right now expanding in India read more about the journey in the factory located in Jhajjar at Reliance MET township here this position you will be located in the manufacturing unit in Jhajjar.

As Cyber Information Security Officer (CISO) you will play a key role in establishing operating and continuously improving cyber and information security at Saabs manufacturing facility in Jhajjar. The facility operates within the defence sector and is owned by Saab requiring strict compliance with both Saab internal security frameworks and applicable Indian laws and regulations.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with:

• Saab corporate policies and security governance
• SMLDI (Security Manual for Licensed Defence Industries)
• Indian IT Act and related regulations
  

The role is deliberately broad and addition to core CISO responsibilities at the plant you will support:

• Identity access and security administration tasks
• Coordination with local IT support and external partners
• All Saab India entities regarding cyber information security

You will work closely the plants Company Chief Security Officer (CCSO) and have a close cooperation with Saabs Cyber and Security sections.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities

• Acting as the local responsible for cyber and information security in the plant
• Implementing and maintaining compliance with Saab and Indian security requirements
• Supporting and perform audits inspections and compliance activities
• Serving as the interface between local operations and Saabs central security functions

Your profile

We are looking for a trusted and pragmatic security professional who is comfortable operating across cyber security information security and IT operations and who can balance regulatory compliance with operational realities.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in cyber and information security systems preferably in regulated or industrial environments
• Good understanding of security governance risk management and compliance
• Hands on experience with Indian regulations such as the SMLDI and IT Act
• Ability to work with both corporate global frameworks and local regulatory requirements
• Strong communication skills in both Hindi and English to be able to work with stakeholders at different levels

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Experience supporting or coordinating IT systems infrastructure or hardware is beneficial
• Experience of working in an international environment

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
