Position Overview

As the AR Specialist - Billing youll be responsible for accurate billing maintaining customer accounts and driving efficient billing processes. People Management Responsibilities: No

Role Type: Full-Time

• Experience: 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing
• Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP etc.)
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g. Great Plains SAP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in high-volume AR or shared services environments preferred
• Knowledge of trade promotion EDI and retailer deduction practices (e.g. Walmart Amazon) preferred
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous process improvement methodologies preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Office 365 skills (Word Excel Outlook)
• Experience with Great Plains software a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate timely invoices based on contracts and service delivery
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
• Post daily cash receipts and resolve discrepancies
• Submit disputes through customer portals
• Maintain comprehensive billing records
• Process credit memos adjustments refunds and write-offs
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger with general ledger and customer accounts
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues
• Generate and distribute aging reports and support month-end close
• Track and report on AR metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge skills and qualifications. This position may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
