Job Summary:Work encompasses all aspects of project management and engineering of utility projects including but not limited to water wastewater and reclaimed water infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities as an Engineer:

• Assistproject managers with a variety of utility projects including supporting client communication tracking project schedules andassistingwith budget management.
• Coordinate with CAD designers and collaborate with internal teams consultants and external agencies.
• Support permit preparation by assisting permit technicians with applications and helping track permit review progress.
• Participate in construction observationsassistwith field documentation andobservecritical construction activities under supervision.
• Communicate and coordinate with construction managers contractors owners inspectors andpermittingagencies as part of the project team.
• Prepare technical documentation such as reports letters project summaries and professional correspondence.
• Gain exposure to water and wastewater pipeline design pump stations hydraulic modeling and/or treatment plant projects.
• Work in both office and field environments as project needs require.

What were looking for:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering(or related field)
• EngineerinTraining (EIT) certification desired.
• Relevant internships in civil or utility engineeringdesired.
• Familiarity with projects in Southwest Florida is aplus butnotrequired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Microsoft Excel Word Outlook knowledge.
• Ability and willingness to interact professionally with clients and regulatory agencies under guidance.
• Must have an excellent driving record and have a valid Florida drivers license as driving is an essential part of the position.
