Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all payroll functions across the PIH Health enterprise. This includes management of bi-weekly payroll processing calculating and remitting federal and state payroll taxes filing quarterly payroll tax returns staying abreast of all current federal and state payroll tax rules/regulations interfacing with the Human Resource Dept. personnel and responsible for addressing employee questions throughout the year.

- A strong technical payroll background is required since this position serves as a key internal control over the accuracy of payroll data covering thousands of employees.
- In addition this person is expected to be able to make recommendations to senior leadership regarding existing processes in order to improve efficiencies and strengthen internal controls.
