Senior Enterprise Account Manager, Telco, Media, Entertainment, Games and Sports
Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned AWS Senior Enterprise Sales Account Manager focused on the most strategic and complex accounts within the TMEGS vertical.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader and self-starter who can independently develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy build and maintain a robust multi-year pipeline and consistently deliver on ambitious revenue targets. The candidate should possess a strong blend of sales acumen and technical depth that enables them to drive executive-level engagement at the VP and C-suite level while also engaging credibly with software developers IT architects and other senior technical stakeholders. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to customers influencing their long-term cloud and AI strategy.
In this role you will own a portfolio of the most strategic named TMEGS accounts driving deep multi-threaded engagement across each account. You will be expected to identify and lead transformational opportunities influence customer technology roadmaps and orchestrate cross-functional AWS resources to deliver outsized business outcomes. The ability to understand complex business requirements and architect tailored solutions aligned to industry use cases (e.g. 5G enablement network modernization AI/ML-driven automation monetization customer experience transformation OTT/streaming platforms gaming/betting infrastructure content delivery and ad-tech) is crucial.
The Senior AWS Enterprise Account Manager will be a strong strategic and analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced ambiguous environments and demonstrates exceptional communication executive presence and presentation skills in both Portuguese and English. Additionally the ability to lead influence and coordinate extended cross-functional teams (including Solutions Architects Specialists Partners and Professional Services) to deliver integrated solutions is essential for success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
- You will own and drive adoption across a portfolio of the most strategic TMEGS accounts (Telco Media Entertainment Gaming and Sports) to meet or exceed ambitious revenue targets
- You will develop and execute a multi-year strategic account plan that creates and maintains a robust sales pipeline including expansion of existing accounts and acquisition of net-new strategic customers within the TMEGS vertical
- You will manage a portfolio of high-value accounts with strategic depth building multi-threaded executive relationships and positioning AWS as a long-term strategic partner; develop and maintain deep relationships with key executive stakeholders as the primary point of contact for AWS within the account
- You will create and articulate compelling C-level value propositions around AWS tailored to TMEGS use cases including network modernization streaming/OTT gaming infrastructure betting platforms content delivery and AI/ML-driven transformation
- You will leverage data-driven insights and sales/metrics analysis to evolve account strategy identify whitespace opportunities and inform territory planning
- You will accelerate customer adoption through executive engagement thought leadership and strategic education helping customers understand how AWS cloud and AI/ML solutions address their most complex TMEGS challenges and unlock new business models
- You will lead and orchestrate cross-functional teams (Solutions Architects Specialists Partners Professional Services) to deliver integrated high-impact solutions; serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives influencing their technology roadmaps and identifying transformational use cases aligned to their TMEGS context
- You will mentor and guide junior team members contributing to team development and sharing best practices across the organization

- 8 years of direct sales or business development in software cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 8 years of business development partner development sales or alliances management experience
- Proven track record of managing complex strategic accounts in the Telco Media Entertainment Games and Sports market with deep knowledge of industry use cases and solutions
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining C-level and VP-level executive relationships and selling transformational solutions with consistent background of exceeding revenue targets in a strategic account management capacity
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex multi-workload cloud engagements
- Experience developing and executing comprehensive multi-year go-to-market and account strategies
- MBA or relevant advanced technical degree
- Professional certifications in cloud technologies or Telco and Media
- Experience promoting the customer adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions and use cases within the TMEGS sector
- Demonstrated thought leadership in the TMEGS industry (e.g. speaking engagements published content industry recognition)
