Job Summary
Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Greenville SC
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology and special procedures in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the radiology department.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any changes in status.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation using the EPIC system.
- Ensure the proper sterilization and functioning of medical equipment.
- Provide support to the team in preparing patients and the procedure rooms.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures setting.
- Certifications:
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License
- Skills:
- Proficiency with EPIC documentation system (1 year required).
- Ability to handle emergency situations and maintain patient safety during procedures.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients physicians and other medical staff.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and protocols.
Additional Information:
- Shift Details:
- 5x8s 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- One night of call per week and every seventh weekend.
