We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology and special procedures in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the radiology department.
Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images during procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any changes in status.
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation using the EPIC system.
Ensure the proper sterilization and functioning of medical equipment.
Provide support to the team in preparing patients and the procedure rooms.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures setting.
Certifications:
ARRT (Radiologic Technologist)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License
Skills:
Proficiency with EPIC documentation system (1 year required).
Ability to handle emergency situations and maintain patient safety during procedures.
Strong communication skills to interact with patients physicians and other medical staff.
Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and protocols.
Additional Information:
Shift Details:
5x8s 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
One night of call per week and every seventh weekend.
