We currently have the opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapists for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave until Dec 2026.

You would facilitate comprehensive Specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for citizens with complex physical mental health and learning disability needs. Reviewing packages of care to ensure the least restrictive approach is implemented. Leading on building effective multi-disciplinary relationships and having adeptness in delivering Continued Healthcare.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic OTs who have experience of leading on projects working at pace supporting the wider team and a passion for the development of the OT service.

The successful candidate requires an eye for detail delivering quality alongside efficiency andadherence to would lead on ensuring high quality professional Occupational Therapy practice across Adult Social Care.

About you

Wed like you to bring:

  • HCPC Occupational Therapist Registration
  • Experience of working as a qualified Occupational Therapist relevant area minimum 2 years
  • Understanding of equal opportunity and diversity issues.
  • Experience of working with citizens with complex needs.
  • Excellent report writing and understanding of assessment processes and outcomes. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Commitment to your continuing professional development and development of the Occupational Therapy service.
  • Readiness to work flexibly across different projects across the city
  • Excellent work ethic working continually at a fast pace
  • Ability to engage in difficult and sensitive conversations with citizens and their representatives
  • Team worker and also able to work with excellent use of initiative and autonomy
