About the role
We are looking for a Global Account Manager to join BSIs Global Key Accounts team based in Japan.
In this role you will be responsible for building and developing long-term value-driven partnerships with key global clients driving sustainable revenue growth across BSIs full portfolio of services.
Acting as a strategic point of contact for your accounts you will coordinate cross-functional teams across regions and divisions ensuring a consistent and high-quality client experience. You will work closely with Global Account Directors (where assigned) to deliver global account strategies while also leading day-to-day account growth and relationship development.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial acumen stakeholder management and the ability to operate in a global matrixed environment while representing BSI with clients in Japan and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute global account plans to drive growth strengthen relationships and deliver long-term value.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations including senior leadership.
Collaborate with Global Account Directors to support the execution of strategic account initiatives.
Lead and coordinate virtual global account teams ensuring alignment across regions and divisions.
Identify and drive new business opportunities across BSIs full service portfolio.
Manage and grow BSIs presence within key accounts supporting both local and global opportunities.
Ensure effective coordination between Sales Marketing and Operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
Support the development and implementation of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) where required.
Monitor pipeline activity ensuring compliance with BSI policies and identifying opportunities for growth.
Drive cross-regional collaboration to maximise value and consistency across global accounts.
Facilitate internal and external communication to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on account performance pipeline and strategic initiatives.
What were looking for
Essential
Experience in key account management enterprise sales or business development within a global environment.
Proven ability to manage and grow complex client relationships across multiple stakeholders and regions.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in solution-based selling.
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed global organisation.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in Japanese and English.
Highly desirable
Experience working with large multinational or global key accounts.
Experience leading or coordinating virtual global teams.
Understanding of industries such as Pharma ICT or Consumer/Retail/Food (CRF).
Experience working across different cultures and international markets.
