Shift: Night Shift 5x8-Hour (00:00 - 08:00) Monday - Friday alternating weekends

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced CT Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in New York NY. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in diagnostic imaging and a thorough understanding of CT procedures. As a CT Tech you will be responsible for operating CT scanners ensuring patient safety and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients as directed by physicians
- Ensure accurate positioning and quality of imaging
- Administer contrast media as required following all safety protocols
- Provide exceptional care to patients explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort
- Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment ensuring its functioning optimally
- Document patient information and imaging results in the EMR RIS and PACS systems
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review images and provide diagnostic support
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (required)
- NYS Radiography license and certification to inject contrast media (required)
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (required)
- Maintain C credits per ARRT requirements (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging (required)
- Recent experience in CT preferred
- Proficient in EMR RIS HIS PACS and modality-specific software (required)
- Ability to work overnights and alternating weekends
