Job Description

The Department of Language Literature and Arts is seeking a part-time faculty on the San Antonio campus. The successful candidate will teach lower-division undergraduate courses in Elementary and Intermediate Spanish (based on academic qualifications). Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments may include day or night classes.

Salary: $3000 per 3-credit course.

Required Education and Experience

  • Masters Degree in Spanish from a regionally accredited institution.

  • 18 graduate hours in Spanish.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • College or University teaching experience.

  • Experience with first-generation students.

  • Spanish for Heritage Language.

  • Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting.

  • Experience in multicultural settings.

  • Completed Ph.D. in Spanish.
