Shift: Day Shift 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (5x8)
Orientation: 16 hours (Non-billable)
Job Description:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join a fast-paced oncology and cardiology radiology team on a travel contract basis. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments while ensuring patient safety accuracy and comfort throughout the care process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely
- Position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment
- Review treatment plans and verify parameters prior to administration
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in EPIC
- Collaborate with oncologists physicists and healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection standards
- Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout treatment
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT (T) certification required
- SCRQSA license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year EPIC experience required
- At least 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience preferred
- First-time travelers may be considered based on experience
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety focus
