As a Security Officer Screener in Mount Vernon WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Screener in a government location you will monitor entry points support access screening activities and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible professional presence. This role combines customer service communication and attention to detail while working with a team that values agility reliability innovation and integrity. Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors staff and/or personal belongings in accordance with site protocols and report prohibited items unusual activity and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry points and help to deter unauthorized access by verifying identification directing individuals to the proper areas and maintaining orderly movement through screening areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct routine checks of assigned screening equipment and surrounding areas and report maintenance issues hazards and/or irregular conditions according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
