Associate or Experienced Manufacturing Planner Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD)

Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for an Associate or Experienced Level Manufacturing Planner to join the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) team located in Huntsville Alabama. This role will be involved in production support activities as well as continuous development projects improving manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop implement and optimize manufacturing processes and planning

• Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team to review manufacturing build flows for planning producibility

• Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions

• Identify and resolve manufacturing issues to improve product quality and production efficiency

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste improve cycle times and enhance overall manufacturing performance

• Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in manufacturing planning & production support

• Experience in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools

• Excellent problem-solving communication and project management skills

• Experience reading interpreting and enforcing standardized manufacturing processes work instructions and engineering drawing and process procedures

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 2 years of experience in manufacturing planning & production support

• STEM focused Associates degree

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

• Competent in Model-Based Design

• Competent in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

• Competent in MESci or similar Manufacturing system

• Competent in Material Resource Planning (MRP) Systems (eg. CompassContract)

• Experience in CAD software suites

• Experience in Windchill or similar engineering management databases

• Active Secret clearance

Associate/Level 2: $61200 - $82800

Experienced/Level 3: $73100 - $98900
