Job Summary
An owner-operator with a tandem-axle tractor looking for a consistent local opportunity
We are looking to hire a Class 1 Owner-Operator for City Pickup & Delivery who knows Hay River and the area.
- Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Hay River service area while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Efficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freight
- Must prioritize all shipments to make all-time critical commitments and Rock Solid deliveries
- Working as a team with the dispatcher and dock personnel to ensure all freight is delivered on time
- Responsible for loading/unloading your own truck
- Operate within the standards and requirements as outlined in the contract
- Must have a truck available every day for work assignments
- Maintaining a strong focus on providing excellent customer service
Qualifications :
- Class 1 license (clean abstract)
- A tandem axle tractor
- Must have WSIB Coverage
- 1 year of LTL experience
- Physically Fit
- Reliable and dependable
- TDG WHMIS and Forklift experience is an asset and is willing to be trained
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check drivers abstract and 2 work-related supervisory references.
