Seasonal Pet Care Specialist – Morristown | Montville | Warren

We are now hiring Summer Seasonal Pet Care Specialists across all three of our New Jersey locations: Morristown Montville and Warren.

Schedule: This is a seasonal position running from mid-May through August. Candidates should anticipate working through mid to end of August; availability through Labor Day Weekend is strongly preferred. Depending on your assigned shift start times begin as early as 6:00 AM and end times run as late as 11:00 PM. Shift lengths are determined by business needs and operational scheduling. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Due to the seasonal nature of this role we can only consider applicants with limited time-off requests during the employment period.

Pay: Starting rate is $16.00-$17.00/hour based on prior professional pet care experience.

No prior professional experience is requiredbut a natural comfort around dogs of all sizes is essential!

What Youll Be Doing

• Engage hands-on in the health and wellness of our canine and feline guests.
• Prepare & deliver meals while following precise schedules and instructions.
• Provide engaging enrichment activities including nature trail walks off-leash play and cuddle sessions.
• Maintain detailed observations and records for each pet guest to support quality care and customer service.
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the facility and pet areas.

What Were Looking For

• Comfort and confidence walking and handling dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes
• Willingness to perform cleaning duties related to animal care
• Ability to read and write in English (for documentation communication and safety procedures)
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts (essential as we care for dogs 365 days a year!).
