Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM 4:00 PM) 5x8 Schedule
Orientation: 16 hours (Non-billable)
Job Description:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join a high-performing radiology and oncology team on a travel contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering precise radiation treatments while ensuring patient safety comfort and compliance with clinical protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
- Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment
- Review treatment plans and verify settings prior to each session
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians oncologists and medical physicists
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards
- Provide compassionate care and patient education throughout treatment
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT (T) certification required
- SCRQSA license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
- Radiation Therapy experience preferred
- First-time travelers may be considered based on overall experience
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and patient safety
