Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Lubbock Texas. This role involves providing direct inpatient rehabilitation services to patients recovering from surgery injury or acute medical conditions in a high-acuity hospital environment.
The position is open to first-time travelers and therapists with at least one year of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatments in an acute care setting
Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans
Work closely with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
Support patient mobility strength training and functional recovery
Document patient progress accurately in clinical systems
Educate patients and families on recovery and mobility goals
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Manage patient caseload in a 1:1 care environment
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license (Texas or compact eligible)
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted)
Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
BLS Certification required
