Compassionate In-Home Caregiver (Non-Medical Support)
About the Role
Do you enjoy helping others and making a real difference in someones day Join Visiting Angels Upland as a non-medical in-home caregiver and support seniors in living safely comfortably and independently at home.
In this role youll build meaningful connections while providing essential day-to-day support. If youre dependable kind and looking for rewarding work wed love to meet you.
What Youll Do
- Assist with personal care (bathing grooming dressing)
- Provide medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Run errands and assist with daily tasks
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Provide transportation to appointments or outings (as needed)
What You Need
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid California drivers license (out-of-state not accepted)
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance (must be listed driver)
- Ability to pass background check drug screening and DMV check
- Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) or willingness to obtain (well help!)
- Negative TB test (we cover the cost if needed)
- Physically able to perform caregiving duties
- Flexible availability
- Two professional references
- Strong communication skills
- A compassionate patient and dependable attitude
