Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment specializing in plastic reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. This role works alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure safe efficient surgical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure proper handling sterilization and organization of surgical tools
- Anticipate surgical team needs to support efficient workflow
- Adhere to all infection control and patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with RNs physicians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Experience working in surgical or outpatient operating room settings
Preferred Qualifications
- AHA ACLS certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT)
