Description

As a Field Service Engineer II here at Honeywell you will provide advanced technical support in Industrial Automation troubleshoot complex issues ensure solution implementation and drive customer satisfaction

This position requires ability to travel up to 80% of the time.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues
  • Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service-related issues / enquiries
  • Configure maintain and solve Honeywell hardware / software issues including: Experion PKS other DCS hardware / software such as LCN & TPS
  • Upgrade Experion software from one software release to another software release on live control system without causing any interruption to customers industrial process
  • Migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywells new technology offering
  • Understand customer key processes and economic drivers to translate those into business opportunities while providing timely research and recommendations
  • Assist Sales during sales pursuits and be the face of Honeywell to end-users
  • Learn the end-to-end product / solution development and delivery / execution of Honeywell products and solutions
  • Use technical expertise of sophisticated Honeywell solutions / product offerings to improve customer experience


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering or related fields.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of time

WE VALUE

  • Experience with Experion PKS Hardware and Software in addition to Hiway TDS and TPS system experience.
  • Ability to obtain multiple L3 certifications within 18 months
  • Software configurationmigration experience project engineering experience virtualizationCyber process control electrical orother application experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills
