Charges have reduced to be comfortable with peds population. Acuity Level for Peds on MS: Low acuity observation status. Most are post op tonsillectomy patients that come up from surgery mid-day and are discharged the following morning. We monitor for pain control and bleeding. During flu season we will see Flu/RSV kids who may need overnight observation and IV fluids or oxygen via nasal cannula.
