Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with advisors for pickup and delivery of customer vehicles to their home work etc.
- Communicate with customers as needed to inform them of pick-up times and coordinate with Service Advisors to ensure customer satisfaction
- Park/move service vehicles as needed
- Bring vehicles up to the service entrance for customers
- Deliver parts to local businesses as needed.
- Deliver vehicles to departments as needed and assist with dealer exchanges of vehicles as needed.
- Complete assignments of detailing/cleaning sales vehicles and providing courtesy customer washes to service customers.
- Hand washes the exterior of the vehicle to include wheel wells etc.
- Applies wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine as needed.
- Vacuums the interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using the vacuum cleaner.
- Cleans upholstery rugs and other surfaces using cleaning solutions applicators and a steam cleaning machine as needed.
- Steam cleans the engine as needed.
- Clean and prepare vehicles for delivery or the front lines as assigned.
- Check each vehicle for quality before delivering it to the customer/internal department.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in automotive detailing is preferred but not required
- Detail-oriented with excellent attention to cleanliness and aesthetics
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including walking crouching bending and standing for extended periods
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
