With an experienced teaching staff already in place this is an ideal setting for a passionate educator who is ready to step into leadership without being thrown into the deep end. The right person isnt necessarily a seasoned administrator theyre someone with deep classroom roots who genuinely understands what teachers go through knows how to connect with parents and makes every child family and staff member feel seen safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Teacher Leadership & Support
- Lead mentor and support classroom teachers in their day-to-day work
- Serve as a resource for teachers navigating challenges and executing the schools vision
- Foster a collaborative encouraging environment among staff
Parent Relations
- Build strong trusting relationships with preschool families
- Handle parent communications concerns and escalations with warmth and professionalism
- Act as the primary liaison between parents teachers and children
School Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the preschool
- Help shape and carry out the schools educational vision
- Ensure a welcoming inclusive and safe environment for everyone in the building
Qualifications
- Classroom or preschool experience preferred but not required
- Warm approachable and people-oriented someone who leads with empathy
- Responsible dedicated and able to hold the trust of both families and staff
- Administrative experience is not required the school is willing to invest in the right person
- Ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership role in a supportive people-first environment
