Maintenance Helper (60596)

As Maintenance Helper you will be responsible for maintaining the facilitys safety and cleanliness 5S and helping maintain the Maintenance Department and Spare Parts. Plant Safety will require cleaning up spills marking and containing roof leaks maintaining egress lines and ensuring all plant safety equipment is accessible and in working order. Plant cleanness will require cleaning all floors (sweeping/Floor Scrubbing) picking up all exterior debris disposing of all pallets power washing sidewalks etc. 5S will require keeping all plant labels and floor markings in working order identifying areas that may need special attention.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Lead this position is based in Shreveport LA*.

• Floor Sweeping
• Floor Cleaning with Tennant Machine
• Ceiling Tiles
• Picking Up exterior plant trash
• Pallet Disposal
• Helping with Maintenance Spare Parts
• 5s and Egress of plant
• Fire extinguishers/ Eye wash station
• Help with Demolition of areas
• Basic Electrical Work
• Landscaping
• Minor Plumbing Work

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills & Abilities:

• Forklift Certified

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work mandatory overtime flexible hours and/or overtime on short notice.
• Factory Setting climate-controlled warehouse.
