SUMMARY

This role involves carrying out daily tasks such as repairs maintenance press servicing and monitoring the tasks in the ERP system used in the Tool Room (Mold Shop).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Track and completethe work orders
• Track red zone
• Proper use of hand tools
• Bring support to the process team.
• Repair tools
• Clean the tools before sending them to the machine.
• Preventive maintenance routine and documentation
• Properly use tool shop equipment
• 5Ss in the tool room and tool shop
• Storage tools in racks.
• May perform other reasonable related business duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

High School Diploma GED or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

4 years of machine shop experience which includes CAD or equivalent

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write to read and interpret documents such as safety rules blue prints operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense logicalunderstanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
