Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital in Lubbock Texas. The role involves providing direct inpatient rehabilitation services in a Level II Trauma Center. This position is open to first-time travelers and therapists with at least one year of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatments
Develop individualized rehabilitation and mobility plans
Work with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and nursing staff
Support patient recovery following surgery injury or acute illness
Document patient progress in accordance with hospital standards
Educate patients and families regarding mobility and recovery goals
Maintain compliance with hospital safety and clinical protocols
Manage a 1:1 patient care model in an acute care setting
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license (Texas or compact eligible)
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted)
Acute care hospital experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
BLS Certification required
