Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital in Lubbock Texas. The role involves providing direct inpatient rehabilitation services in a Level II Trauma Center. This position is open to first-time travelers and therapists with at least one year of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatments
- Develop individualized rehabilitation and mobility plans
- Work with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and nursing staff
- Support patient recovery following surgery injury or acute illness
- Document patient progress in accordance with hospital standards
- Educate patients and families regarding mobility and recovery goals
- Maintain compliance with hospital safety and clinical protocols
- Manage a 1:1 patient care model in an acute care setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license (Texas or compact eligible)
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted)
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
- BLS Certification required
